To represent our principals ethically and professionally in our contractual territories.
Maximizing sales and profitability growth through continual investment in
personnel and technology. Providing our customers with unparalleled service
and challenging our internal resources to increase penetration in our mutual
marketing channels.
HISTORY:
Clarke Sales and Gillette Sales merged in 1981 to form Clarke-Gillette Sales,
Inc. Lloyd Engleby joined in 1987 forming Engleby-Clarke Gillette, Inc. In 1998
the name was changed to reflect current ownership Engleby-Gillette-Henderson,
Inc. October 1, 2002 Thornton Sales Agency, Inc. merged with EGH, Inc. In January
2003 the name was changed to Lighting and Power Solutions, Inc.,
de-emphasizing individualism and creating a target
market focus.
MARKET PHILOSOPHY:
We are comprised of 2 target market divisions Lighting and Power. In both divisions
we target all market segments Commercial, Industrial, Utility, and Residential.
We combine both Geographical and Market Specialist criteria in assigning sales
territory representation. Geographical assignment is used for Distribution Channel
Focus maximizing Face Time through territory assignment and Satellite Offices.
Market Specialists are responsible for overall market planning and focus and
may overlap traditional geographical boundaries to utilize expertise at targeted
End Users. Our people are compensated on Salary + Incentive programs. This encourages
a Team atmosphere and prevents internal boundaries. Identifying
electrical product market channels; Consulting, Distribution, Contracting, and
End User. We utilize our diverse internal resources and long-standing relationships
within each channel to maximize our principal exposure to each applicable channel,
targeting sales and profitability growth, and ultimately increasing
market penetration.
TERRITORY:
We represent lines in the entire State of Arkansas, Western Tennessee to the
Tennessee River, Northern Mississippi to Highway 82 and
Northern Louisiana.
